
The 2005 Journey through Aging Conference, August 26th –
27th, is a two-day forum exploring health and human service
issues related to the aging population. Held in beautiful Lakeland,
Florida, Journey through Aging will consist
of workshops, talks and panel discussions by a variety of top medical
and social service professionals. Providing the opportunity to earn
up to 7 CME/CEU credits, this will be the perfect conference for
registered nurses, practical nurses, physicians, physician assistants,
licensed clinical social workers, pharmacists, physical/occupational
therapists, psychologists/mental health therapists, dieticians,
radiology technologists, and speech therapists.
This conference is a collaborative effort between the University
of South Florida Lakeland, USF School of Social Work, USF Rath Senior
ConNEXTions and Education Center, Watson Clinic LLP, Coalition on
Aging Think Tank, and Polk County Medical Association.
None of the speakers have indicated they have a relationship to
disclose relating to the subject matter presented today, with the
exception
of Amanda Smith, M.D., who is a shareholder of Forest Pharmaceuticals.
