Faculty/Adjunct Web-Course (Blackboard) Access Instructions
All faculty and adjuncts MUST have access to Blackboard in order to submit grades- regardless of the type of course delivery!
Step 1:
Obtain a Faculty/Staff ID . You will need a USF identification card in order to sign up for your USF NetID that is necessary to access a Blackboard course.

Step 2:
Obtain a USF NetID. This is necessary to gain access to the USF Portal and your Blackboard class. To activate your NetID visit University Network Access. Then...
A. Enter the rest of the top number from your USF ID Card. This number should start 640013...
B. Enter your birthdate
C. Enter your social security number
D. Click continue
E. Follow the instructions for the rest of the screens. When asked to enter a password keep in mind that this must be from 6-8 characters and cannot contain any word recognizable by a dictionary. It is recommended that you use a combination of numbers and letters.
F. Verify your email address within your netid. This should reflect a USF email address. If it does not, you will need to contact ERDC (Lakeland IT department) to get your email squared away. Your Office Manager or Program Assistant can also help you to get started with obtaining an email. Step 3:
Log-in to the My USF Portal at https://my.usf.edu using your new NetID and password you obtained in step 2. Then...
A. To find your course, click on the tab at the top of the page which reads "Courses".
B. All course correspondence will be routed through your USF e-mail account specified by your NetID, unless you forward it to another location. Contact ERDC for assistance on how to gain access to your email (863) 667-7040.
