Educational Leadership Retreat
LAKELAND,
FL (August 12, 2002) - The
Educational Leadership Department of the University of South Florida(USF),
Lakeland Campus is planning a Master’s Retreat for its new, and
continuing students. The Retreat is an all day event to be held on August
24, 2002 from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The department has planned a day
full of breakout sessions, guest speakers and information on admission
and application procedures. Continental breakfast and lunch will be provided.
The one day retreat will be on the Lakeland Campus of USF. For more information

The retreat is intended for two groups, students currently enrolled in
this Master’s program, and students who will be starting their Master’s
degree in Educational Leadership this Fall. Dr. Richard O’Sullivan
and Dr. Bobbie Greenlee will provide general knowledge information, which
will better prepare their students for the required coursework, much of
which is offered online. The retreat will include sessions on:
- Preparing for the comprehensive exams and Florida
Educational Leadership Examination (FELE)
- Writing at the graduate level, library assistance for research
endeavors
- Getting your first job
- Voices from the field of school administration.
The Department’s goal is to make this an annual event where graduating
students can continue to encourage and support students just entering
the Master’s Program.
