LAKELAND,
FL (April 29, 2004) - The
University of South Florida Lakeland campus will be offering the Master's
in Educational Leadership (M.Ed.) program in the Four Corners area starting
this Fall 2004. An informative session will be held on Thursday May
6, 2004, beginning at 5:00 p.m. at Ridgeview Global Studies Academy,
1000 Dunson Road, Davenport. USF Lakeland faculty and staff who will
be on hand to present information relating to program requirements,
application procedures, financial aid and scholarships.
The program
is designed to provide the theoretical and conceptual knowledge base
required for the principalship and for Florida Educational Leadership
Certification. Coursework addresses the eight competency domains specified
for the Leadership Examination. All coursework will be offered at Ridgeview
Global Studies Academy in Davenport through a combination of innovative
scheduling and delivery options.
