LAKELAND,
FL (April 23, 2004) - The
Rath Senior ConNEXTions and Education Center will host a FREE nutrition
and exercise seminar on Thursday, April 29, 2004, from 2-3 p.m. Judy
Laws, owner of Home Instead, Inc., located in Polk County will speak
to seniors about eating more nutritious foods and will show them simple,
easy and fun exercises that are designed to help people as they age.
This is a wonderful event for Polk County Seniors that you do not want
to miss!
The Senior ConNEXTions Center, located at the old Bartow Memorial Hospital site, 1350 East Main Street, is a partnership between USF Lakeland and the Coalition on Aging Think Tank. The ConNEXTtions Center is the "next generation of senior care" and is the only one of its kind in the area, housing services and information on Alzheimer's,
medication, educational opportunities, care giving and other issues relevant
to senior citizens.
