SuperBull XI Homecoming Week coming to USF Lakeland
LAKELAND,
FL (October 25, 2007) - As the University of South Florida Bulls prepare to face the Cincinnati Bearcats Nov. 3 in Raymond James Stadium, USF Lakeland will host a week-long series of Homecoming events.
SuperBull XI Homecoming Week will be highlighted by a free Homecoming Kickoff on Wednesday, Oct. 29, from 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 pm and a Homecoming Pep Rally on Thursday, Nov. 1, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. outside between LAC and LTB. Sponsored by the Student Government Association (SGA), the events feature food, music and activities.
Those who attend the Kickoff will also meet the students who have been chosen to represent USF Lakeland as Lord and Lady of Homecoming, Clayton Mckown and Kelly Kensy.
In honor of USF's Homecoming, SGA has planned themed events for each of the other days leading up to the game. Bring you USF ID for free goodies at each event, including T-shirts, pom-poms, cups and megaphones!
Here's the full USF Lakeland homecoming schedule:
 Monday (Oct. 29): Homecoming Kickoff, 4p.m. - 6 p.m. outside between LAC and LTB. Free activities include Kick X machine and a mechanical bull. Meet Rocky the Bull and enjoy free food from Pizza Valdiano. VP & CEO Marshall Goodman will "kick off" the event at 4 p.m. when he takes the first kick on the Kick X machine.
- Tuesday (Oct. 30): Homecoming Coffee House. SGA Seminar Room ( LTB 1149). Free cookies and iced coffee from Black & Brew.
- Wednesday (Oct. 31): Haunted Café, 4 p.m. - 6 p.m. SGA Seminar Room ( LTB 1149). Get in your Halloween costumes and join us in the Haunted Café with free food from Chick-Fil-A and Tropical Smoothie
- Thursday (Nov. 1): Homecoming Pep Rally, 4 p.m. - 6 p.m. outside between LAC and LTB. Free activities include a rock climbing wall and free pizza from Papa John's
- Friday (Nov. 2): Homecoming Parade in Tampa, 7 p.m.
- Saturday (Nov. 3): Homecoming Football Game at Raymond James Stadium, Time TBA.
