LAKELAND,
FL (August 28, 2007) - Calling all artists! Polk Community College and the University of South Florida Lakeland will present a Hispanic Art Fest Oct. 3, 2007, and are looking for artists whose work has a Latin flavor.
Do you paint Caribbean landscapes or architecture? Make colorful pottery? Weave baskets, hats or blankets? Capture Hispanic life through photography? Or do you have any other artisan trade representative of Hispanic culture?
Call Jeane Vincent at 863-667-7007 to learn how you can set up a table at the "Marketplace" and share or sell your art to students, faculty and community members during the Hispanic Art Fest. The event takes place Oct. 3, 2007, 4:30 pm - 7:30 pm in the Lakeland Technology Building (LTB), 3433 Winter Lake Road, Lakeland.
