LAKELAND,
FL (October 06, 2004) - The
University of South Florida Lakeland campus will be offering the Master's
in Educational Leadership (M.Ed.) program in Polk County starting this
Spring 2005. An informative session will be held on Monday, October
11, 2004, beginning at 5:30 p.m. at the USF Lakeland Auditorium, 3433
Winter Lake Road, Lakeland. USF Lakeland faculty and staff will be on
hand to present information relating to program requirements, application
procedures, financial aid and scholarships.
The program is designed
to provide the theoretical and conceptual knowledge base required for
the principal ship and for Florida Educational Leadership Certification.
Coursework addresses the eight competency domains specified for the
Leadership Examination. Through a combination of innovative scheduling
and delivery options, coursework will be offered in the evenings, Saturday's,
web-based and web-enhanced courses.
