LAKELAND,
FL (September 15, 2004) - The
University of South Florida Lakeland campus will be offering the Master's
in Educational Leadership (M.Ed.) program in Citrus County starting
this Spring 2005. An informative session will be held on Tuesday, September
21, 2004, beginning at 5:00 p.m. at the Citrus County School Board,
1007 W. Main Street, Inverness. USF Lakeland faculty and staff will
be on hand to present information relating to program requirements,
application procedures, financial aid and scholarships.
The program
is designed to provide the theoretical and conceptual knowledge base
required for the principal ship and for Florida Educational Leadership
Certification. Coursework addresses the eight competency domains specified
for the Leadership Examination. Through a combination of innovative
scheduling and delivery options, coursework will be offered in the evenings,
Saturday's, web-based and web-enhanced courses.
