An Associate of Arts (AA) Degree From a Florida Community College
With An Information Technology Emphasis

In addition to the general education requirements, the student should include the following prerequisites to upper level university coursework in their 60-hour A.A. program:

CGS XXXX Any Database Course
COP 2510 Programming Concepts Course
MAC 1140 Precalculus Alegebra Course
MXX XXXX Discrete Mathematics/Structures
STA 2023 Introduction to Probability & Statistics
COP 2224 Object-oriented Programming
(for example C++)
PHY XXXX Any Physics Course
ECO 2013 Principles of Economics I (Macro)
PSY 2012 General Psychology

All transfer students should complete as much of the mathematics, science and programming coursework as is available.

All of these courses are available on the joint USF/PCC (Polk Community College) campus.
